Clean eating chicken patties. There’s only so many days in a row you can eat chicken patties when you’re on a clean eating regime – unless you do something to mix it up a bit. Adding some tomato sauce and Italian spices gives chicken patties an Italian twist.
No official recipe – its all very simple: In a bowl combine 1 pound of ground chicken or you can use ground turkey. Mix in some tomato sauce, but not so much that the meat becomes too soggy to work into patties. As part of our clean eating program, we low carb it, so that means you can NOT add bread crumbs to the meat! (At very most, some oats or ground oats, but its best not to).
Add a teaspoon or more or chopped garlic from a jar, and 1 teaspoon or more (to taste)or both dried basil and dried oregano . Form into patties and cook in non-stick skillet. Spray lightly with coconut cooking spray ONLY if absolutely necessary.
